About Our Club

Who We Are

Serving Communities Along Entebbe Road Corridor

The Rotary Club of Namasuba (RCN) brings together active professionals, local business leaders, and dedicated volunteers residing and working along the Entebbe Road Corridor in Uganda.

Our Club Legacy

Chartered in 2017, the club has celebrated 9 leadership installations. We highlight diversity and inclusion in our core values, conspicuously evidenced by our history of installing four distinguished Lady Presidents: PAG Susan Ssamula, CMP Hajat Rehema Ndagire, Outgoing President Rtn. Sophie Musiitwa, and Incoming President Rtn. Rosemary Nakasinde Mutanda.

We are part of Rotary International District 9214. Collaborating closely with neighboring chapters and international partners, we dedicate our time and resources to executing hands-on community projects that leave a lasting impact.

Leadership Voices

Messages from Rotary Leaders

"Leadership in Rotary is not about position; it is about responsibility, continuity, and action. Every installation marks a fresh opportunity to renew our commitment to service and to ask ourselves a simple but powerful question: what lasting impact shall we create? For 2026–2027, our presidential message is Create Lasting Impact. Let us lead with courage, innovation, and purpose."

Olayinka “Yinka” Hakeem Babalola
Rotary International President, 2026–2027
Guiding Principles

Values & Operating Framework

Rotary is a global network of members working together to exchange ideas and take action. At the cornerstone of the Rotary Club of Namasuba are our core guiding values, operationalized through the Avenues of Service, the Rotary Core Values, and the 4-Way Test.

1The Object of Rotary (Club, Vocational, Community, International & Youth Service)
2Rotary Core Values: Fellowship, Integrity, Diversity, Service, and Leadership
3The 4-Way Test of the things we think, say or do
Governance & Integrity

Decisions Must Be Guided strictly by Club Bylaws

"Club bylaws are not merely procedural documents; they are the operating framework. Adherence to agreed procedures safeguards the club from arbitrariness, internal conflict, and division, promoting unity, continuity, and institutional integrity."

— Past President Conrad Kizito

Capacity Building

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) & Continuous Learning

We remain deeply committed to leadership development and education. Many club officers, including Executive Secretary Henry Magandazi Seguya, actively graduate from the Rotary Leadership Institute cohorts, gaining practical skills in collaborative development and mentorship.

This dedication to training and engagement was celebrated during the 101st District Conference, where RCN was awarded **2nd Runner Up** in Learning Centre member engagement and participation.
